No, just invite the new user via link within a specific group and he can automatically use the App to answer calls.
30. Is the IpDoor system secure on the cloud?
We own and control the cloud, we choose the safest servers and we are able to protect data in the most effective way.
31. What happens to the IpDoor system if the internet is missing?
IpDoor works even in the absence of internet connection because it uses point-to-point communication technology. It will not be possible to answer calls remotely but the system functions will remain unchanged.
32. In which contexts is it possible to install the IpDoor system?
One of the strengths of our system is flexibility in adapting to many installation environments (residential, B&B, industrial, offices).
33. I own a villa managed with numerous home automation systems, is IpDoor compatible?
Our video door entry system is perfectly suitable also for large villas with a strong technological touch. IpDoor integrates and communicates easily with all pre-existing home automation systems.

36. What features do I unlocke by purchasing IpDoor licenses?
You can remotely use all the functions of the App (therefore also answer and open doors when you are not at home), add new call buttons to the touch display of the external unit, use the IpDoor system in access control mode and enable it to communicate with SIP devices. Contact our staff to find out other very useful features that will soon be available for customizing your IpDoor system.
37. Where do I configure IpDoor licenses?
The purchased licenses are configured by the administrator via web interface. He will enter the QR code supplied with them and associate the desired accounts. Some licenses are linked to external units, others are linked to the account that activates them.
38. Can all the accounts associated to the system use the access control license?
No, the activation of the Device Access Control license alone is not sufficient to activate the access control functionality. In fact, it is also necessary to combine the User Access Control License. Only the number of users chosen with the purchase of the User Access Control License will be able to generate their own credentials.
39. If I connect the system to multiple devices at the same time (tablets, phones, monitors) is it necessary to purchase additional licenses?
It depends.
Do you need to connect IpDoor devices within the local LAN network? You don't need any additional licenses.
Do you need to connect third-party devices within the LAN? You will need to purchase the Third Party Devices license.
Do you need to connect third-party devices to a remote network? You will need to purchase the Third Party Devices license and the Remote Call license.
For example:
Are you in the office and the courier calls your home for an important delivery? You can reply via the App with a text message that will appear on the external door station and open it to have the package delivered. You can also check using the door station camera that the courier has left and closed the gate.
Are you out for the weekend and need workers to enter your garden for urgent maintenance? You can answer the video intercom from your holiday home and conveniently open the gate for them.
Are you out for work and your child is locked out without a key? You can open the gate and front door directly from your smartphone.
For example:
If in a condominium there are 80 interiors divided into two stairwells of 50 and 30 apartments each, each entrance will have its own door station and you will need to purchase a number of buttons license with 80 interiors that will then be divided amongst the different door stations.
For example:
Do you have domestic staff that you don't want to leave your house keys to for security reasons? You can give them a numeric code or assign them a QR code that allows them to enter. You can even generate entry systems with well-defined time slots or temporary permissions.
In the office, do you want to automate the entry system for employees and know when they enter and leave? Thanks to access management via NFC or Bluetooth, you can do this reliably and securely.
For example:
Within a company it makes it possible to interface with telephone exchanges that in turn manage the individual internal phones. When a visitor rings using the external panel, the call will arrive directly to the company's proprietary phones so they may open the entrances.
In residential contexts such as villas this strong technological characteristic makes it possible to interface with internal home automation devices. When a visitor rings using the external panel the user can answer, for example, from the internal home automation device.
In private or in accommodation facilities such as a Bed & Breakfast it’s possible to interface with SIP service providers which divert the call to the traditional telephone network. This feature is very useful in areas where there is a poor mobile signal (e.g. in the mountains): when a visitor rings using the video intercom the call will arrive in telephone form and not only via App.
For example:
The user is away from home, awaiting the arrival of a guest. He won’t risk to create a disservice to his guest because thanks to the Monitoring License he will be notified of any problem in advance, therefore being able to adopt alternative solutions in time.
Does the installer want to offer a stable maintenance service to his customers? With a Monitoring License, you will be notified in case of disconnection of a device and will be able to prevent the problem even before the user has evidence of it.
For example:
This touchless feature helps ensure strict hygiene measures and the well-being of all employees and visitors. In this sense, the Voice Command license proves to be an essential ally in contexts such as condominium complexes, companies and accommodation facilities.
The solution proves to be of vital importance also and above all for people with sensory or motor disabilities that do not allow to manually interact with the plate. Where it is possible to use voice, the voice command will promote a completely autonomous use of the video door phone.
The license allows for even more convenient, faster and more intuitive communication and ensures an excellent first impression with your visitors.
For example:
Within hospitality structures, think of a hotel reception, the PC Client service allows you to welcome and interact with customers in an innovative way, improving the guest experience and general organization. All calls from guests can be managed efficiently and centrally, even remotely.
Also for companies, especially those located in several branches, the PC Client license allows recreating a virtual switchboard through which to manage the reception of visitors via PC even remotely. Through the app you can easily manage a very large number of telephone sets and devices connected to the IpDoor system, regardless of where they are installed.
For example:
For example:
By ringing the video intercom, the visitor will also automatically call the direct lift to the tenant's floor. Or, he will call the tenant who in turn, after identifying the visitor, can decide whether to send the lift from his own internal monitor.
If there's the need to limit the access to the various floors of a building, it will be possible to take advantage of the Lift Integration license and the IpDoor access control system. A user who accesses via PIN credential, QR code, Bluetooth or NFC, will be recognized by the system that will send an elevator to take him only through the authorized floors.
